IMPORTANT NOTICE – CHANGE IN RENEWAL DATES
The Iowa Dental Board has changed the expiration date of all licenses and permits by granting an automatic two-month extension. You do not need to take any action at this time.
A dental license, faculty permit, general anesthesia, or conscious sedation permit due to expire on June 30, 2008, is automatically extended until August 30, 2008, and expires August 31, 2008. The continuing education time period has also been extended to August 30. The number of continuing education hours required has not changed (30 hours).
This is the only notification that will be mailed – you will not receive a blue renewal card showing the two-month extension. Instead, you should post this notice with your license or permit. You will receive an application for renewal in July 2008. You must then renew prior to August 31, 2008.
